Saturday was lots of grilling and prepping for this coming week. It’s the way we like to cook. We (Mr. BFF) grilled steak, potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower for our dinner Saturday night – add a lil blue cheese and some grilled mushrooms and its always delicious. Yesterday, we made it into a steak bowl dish and it was still very yummy.
For this week, he also grilled more mushrooms and broccoli, chicken breast and green and yellow zucchini. Then he made custards for desserts too. Here’s what else is coming up…
It’s been a bit too long since we did the whole week’s full menu planning and prepping. We’ve been defaulting to sandwiches and maybe a pasta dish or salad. But, that season is coming to a close (even though the linguine with garden tomatoes and zucchini and feta was quite good.)
The garden is closed (mostly) and the darkness of the evening is falling earlier and earlier… Tis that season again.
